Merry Christmas!

We have really enjoyed the Christmas spirit this year! Our tree stays lit all day, Christmas music is playing through out the house-or Hope is singing songs, we rode around and looked at Christmas lights, planning for Christmas dinner is in the works, we have spent special time with friends and family, and of course....we have made cookies! This was the first year Hope really got into the decorating-she was very meticulous (at times you couldn't see the cookies because of the decorations on top of them). Hunter loved shaking the red and green sprinkles...over and over and over and over and you get the picture. Fun traditions and memories were made at our home this year!

I feel like I need to share these pics: this is what goes on during "down time" at our house. Hunter is just starting to get into coloring (let our walls show his talent) and Hope enjoys the computer. The best part of this picture of Craig and Dutch is Hunter in the background-he had put Craig's hat on all by himself and looks pretty proud of himself!

We hope that you all are making your own traditions and wonderful memories! Merry Christmas from the Walters' family!

I LOVE this time of year!

What a wonderful December we have had! There are so many things to share...and of course pictures! We got the house decorated, the tree up, and have attended a couple of Christmas parties and even a wedding. Wow! We sure have been busy. Here are some of the highlights so far:

*school is out, so we are having great family time!

*we went to camp Christmas and were able to catch up with old friends; at the wedding-which was awesome-the Clemson tiger showed up at the reception

*we had the "Scheffler Christmas" (my dad's side of the family-this is the one time of year we see that side of the family) and my dad and Jennifer drove from Louisiana and surprised us!

*at Foothills Community Church this morning, the band ROCKED it! It looked like they were having so much fun! I love our church!
*I love the feelings I get in my heart this time of year!

*only 6 more days and we get to visit Grandaddy and Nonna!

Love this time of year!

I love this time of year! We have so many things to be thankful for and are blessed with. For thanksgiving we went to Georgia and had one of the best thanksgivings ever. The kids did great and we were so pleased. We have decorated for Christmas, went to the Clemson Christmas parade (where we saw Santa!) and we even have seen snow flurries! YEAH! This time of year always touches my heart and makes me thankful for my family, and yes, restored relationships.

This turkey was AMAZING! Doesn't it look like a picture from a magazine?
Hope ringing to bell to let everyone know that dinner was ready! Yummy!Hunter was ready.
Grandma and the grandkids.Three generations...We took so many of these, getting 4 people to look at one camera was tough!
