March=snow?!

We had a winter blast come into the Upstate on March 1st. It seemed at first that Clemson was the only one not getting snow, but low and behold...the snow came! It started falling and within an hour or so we were at an inch to inch and a half. It was so beautiful and the excitement in our house was at an all time high! Hope couldn't wait to go and play in it, and Hunter kept looking out the window saying "now" (with the long 'o' as in snow, not as in the word now). He was so little the last time we had snow, he was in the stroller. We finally made it outside-and this was in the beginning of the snow-sure enough it snowed for hours after we played outside, but it got pretty dark outside. Anyway, Hope took off playing and Hunter was not so sure of this stuff falling on him. Seriously, I have never seen such a hard steady snowfall-even in PA (it was just always there when we woke up). Once we showed him how to catch the flakes in his hand, he really liked it. We had to have quick feet because Hope kept throwing snowballs at us! Needless to say, it was a great evening and this morning it is still pretty out there-a winter wonderland AND a snow day, so no school!
