there is half of summer left!

It seems as if summer is flying by in the Walters' household! We have really enjoyed the sun and time together. I have been working at Camp a couple of days a week and the other days we are usually at the pool or finding water somewhere.

We were able to spend a day at Oconee State Park. The kids had so much fun swimming. Speaking of swimming....Hope has turned into a mermaid this year! She loves jumping in and trying to swim under water. She keeps trying to stay under longer and longer. Hunter, as of yesterday, is jumping off the side of the pool (while holding hands) and going under! This is huge progress since...well...last week!

Craig has been doing awesome with his running-he hit 14 miles last week (what?!). Me...not so much. I just haven't really made the time for running, or the gym for that matter. I am ready to get back into my working out routine. However, it appears that I walk all the time at camp, so it isn't like I don't get some exercise in.

We were able to visit with family yesterday-Johnny and his wife, Connie, were in town from Arizona. It was so nice to see them and catch up! Todd came over and we all had a nice meal. Of course it started raining as soon as I set up the table and chairs on the deck...so...we all crammed around our little table in the dining room. Anyway, they seemed to like the new cheese dip stuff I tried and my new dessert (yeah!), and of course Craig's chicken was yummy!

I hope to get some pictures posted soon from our summer adventures....
