Hilton Head was very much a bonding time for our family! We had so much fun going to the beach, playing in the waves, building sand castles, swimming at the pool and just hanging out together. We spent more time on the beach than I thought we would have, but our kids love the ocean! It was so much fun!
School started back for us and Hope started kindergarten. So hard to believe that my “baby” girl is a kindergartener at Clemson Elementary! Let me share with you how the first day of school went…Hope wanted to ride the bus and yes, mom of the year right here, over slept and woke up at 7:00-yeah...her bus comes at 6:50. Nice. Anyway, she was disappointed but got over it when I told her that I would have to drive her to school. We got into the school, I was able to snap a few pictures, and then she looks at me and says "isn't it time you go and be a teacher?"-I had to also check on all my special ed students after I dropped her off-guess that was my cue. So...off I went and she loved every minute of the day :) Thank you to all of our friends and family that called, texted and emailed to check on Hope (and mom) after her first day!

Last weekend was my birthday and I had a first ever…a SURPRISE birthday party! I have some of the best friends and family! I was truly shocked! We even got to go out on the town that night and share a lot of laughs! Of course, it is nice that Clemson won their came, too!

We had a wonderful visit with Grandaddy this past weekend! We were all so excited to see Grandaddy! We had such a good time at the park, Botanical Gardens, the water fountains and playing games! We sure did miss Nonna, but are thankful that she let Grandaddy come without her!
With it being football season, we usually get to visit with friends and family we haven’t seen in a long time! So, if you are in the area, please be sure to stop bye! We would love to see you!
