Yesterday, Feb 11th, it started snowing around 3:00. By the time I was home from work-by 5:00-there was enough snow on the ground to go sledding. We headed to Kite Hill for some sledding. It was so much fun! I think I was the only one ready to roll-for I had pulled out all my skiing clothes (figuring since I don't get to ski this year, I can use it to sled) and was super warm and dry; the rest of the crew was cold and wet. We only stayed out for a bit and came home to warm up in front of the fire and have chili for dinner. Perfect! I woke up early on Sat morning to enjoy the beauty of the snow. Finally Hunter walked out, "the snow in the trees and on the ground". He was really excited. However, when I asked if he was ready to go sledding, he said no, it was too cold. Sad. I am anxiously waiting on the rest of the family to get up so we can go make a snowman and go sledding....
