1-10-11...tomorrow

January 9th-the night before a snow day for School District of Pickens County. They say this HUGE snow storm is a brewin and is headed our direction. So.....without the first drop of rain, snow, anything even falling from the sky, school is out. Usually I am all for it. However....I don't want to lose my spring break and this go around of snow might be a challenge. Craig will be working the fire department and Hunter is sick.
It started Friday night-hit him within a two hour period and BAM! has knocked him off his feet. Saturday was not too bad (we started breathing treatments and meds), but the evening was a challenge and today has been rough. He is just pitiful looking. His face looks so sad. He has taken 4 naps today and this is from the kid who never naps anymore. When we ask him how he is, he responds with "not good". Hope, being the wonderful big sister she is, has offered to not play out in the snow if Hunter can't-just because it won't be fair. She is so compassionate! She has been helping take care of him and trying to entertain him (reading, playing on the computer, etc.).
Soooo...hope for snow, but yet, not really. I feel bad for the kids. Craig will be working at the fire department, so either the three of us go out or the three of us stay in. Either way, we will have snow cream and hot chocolate for sure!
On a side note-tomorrow marks the one year anniversary of the "fall of o-10". Craig seems to think he might try and take his tree stands down tomorrow....hahahah....yeah...right....
