so much has happened since my last blog...
we were out of school for an entire week! That was connected with MLK weekend, thus we were out for 10 days-almost like Christmas all over! We enjoyed the snow as much as possible. Hunter was sick the first half of the week and Hope was sick the second half. The bonus is that neither one missed any school:) We had a fire almost all day everyday and I LOVED it! I love a fire :) We also have realized that we need to purchase a sled or two. I hope to do that before the NEXT snow storm arrives-which they are calling from some on Tuesday. The one I worry about is the BIG on in February they keep talking about-something about 15 inches.
Our cousins Sandy and Eric had a sweet baby girl the other week. Yeah! Another girl Walters! We can't wait to meet her!
Hope has her first project-poster board, dressing up, and a little oral report (really just one line, but she is nervous about speaking in a microphone). They had to choose a famous American and she selected Juliette Low. You know, founder of the Girl Scouts...did I mention Hope is a Daisy? Yep, we are in the heat of selling girl scout cookies :) Her first goal was 10,000 boxes, I had her lower it a bit-she went with 100 but she has just met that, so now it is 200. She only has another week to get 100 more...we will see how this goes.
Craig starts an EMT class in Feb, and he starts his studying to challenge his firefighter certification. We are all so proud and excited for him-Hunter has even decided on a fire fighter birthday party (but that's not until May). We are in the planning phases for Hope's birthday party...apparently she wants a roller skating party. Should I remind her that she is still working on her skating skills? Nahhh....we will just let her enjoy it :)
Well, that's all for now...hope to be writing more often!
