Fabulous Feb!

Of course we started Valentine's Day off with heart pancakes....or that was dinner, either way, we were festive :)

We have had such a fun and crazy last couple of weeks! Hope celebrated her 7th birthday with friends and family while roller skating. It was ironic she wanted a roller skating birthday party being that she doesn't really know how to roller skate. We are going to have to practice that skill more! (pics to come later)

Hope had her girl scout cookies sales (Daisy in her case) and she beat her goal of 200 boxes! We worked a cookie booth and I was SO very proud of her! There were three girls working the booth and Hope was the only one who literally worked the entire time! She did great-used her manners, so polite and smiled :)

I have a new treat I love making! They are very similar to the Oreo truffles I make around Christmas time. They are called cake balls (check out this site: http://www.bakerella.com/). I tried to get creative and I made some in white chocolate with sprinkles and I made some Oreo truffles that were wrapped up like large Hershey kisses. For Hope's birthday, I make cake pops! They turned out great! I am trying different flavors of cake for different occasions. Planning on some green ones for St. Patty's day.

Hope had her Famous American's Day program -you know...the one that goes with "the" poster disaster (see previous post)...-anyway, her program was the same day as Hunter's "p" dress up day at school, sooo, he is wearing his pjs and robe to school.Today was so beautiful we took the kids to the church parking lot next store to ride bikes. We are trying to teach Hope how to ride without training wheels and just trying to get Hunter to pedal. He really got the hang of it today and Hope is getting better. I tell ya...this tested both Craig's and my patience to the end! I can't imagine when we try to teach them to drive! :)
