faithful and honest...

I am trying to get better at this blogging thing...so here is today's story...
Hope had Daisy's today-Craig drops her off and I pick her up. When I arrived to pick her up, she greets me with a piece of paper with a drawing on it. It appeared to be a man (stick figure with clothes drawn on top of the sticks) walking on grass. Above the man was the word "God". Nothing else on the paper. So I ask Hope, what is this? She informs me that their lesson that day was about honesty and faithfulness. The project was to draw someone who you know that is honest and faithful. Hope looks me square in the eye and with all her being tells me that God is the ONLY person she can think of that is fair and honest. What?! The only person? Ummm...hello? Where have we (as her parents) gone wrong? OR...if God is who she thought of, we must be doing something right! :)
