decisions, decisions

Today is one of those days. It is wet outside. The kids went to bed late last night, but got up super early...thus, little man is down for a nap at this very moment. I was inspired to clean...today is cleaning day as I put it. Thank goodness this excites Hope as much as it does me. When I mentioned it, she walks in carrying cleaner and paper towels and a grin on her face. The boys both stated that they needed a nap before we got started (yes, it was before lunch time). Cleaning commenced and then we paused. You know...you should never pause when you are being productive. We have gone down hill from there. We are now day dreaming...dreaming about fixing the house (roof, foyer, living room, playroom, etc.). We get so carried away, but in the back of our minds we know that it won't be happening now. It gets challenging at times to be responsible and pay towards debt and not just go and capture those dreams. We try to find a balance...pay off some debts, however, still do some work on the house. Now it is to prioritize the needs around the house...decisions, decisions.

Oh! On a cool note...Hope's class was hosting a Buck-A-Book fundraiser (you pay a buck to listen to children read a book) to go towards Clemson Community Care. She wrote a letter to Justice John Keenan and to Governor Nikki Haley. She got a letter from Justice Keenan saying that he was unable to attend, but good luck or something like that. Then, last week, she got a PHONE MESSAGE at her school from Governor Nikki Haley saying she was sorry she would not be able to attend, however she enjoyed Hope's letter she wrote to her! How cool is that?! I don't think Hope quite gets how neat this is, but one day she will :) FYI-this year, the class broke the old record with the amount of money raised (we don' t have an exact amount yet, but it is over $1,000)! Hope was VERY excited about that!
